Since the city is home to Salem College, Winston-Salem State University, UNC-School of the Arts, Piedmont Bible College, Forsyth Technical Community College and Wake Forest University and Bowman Gray School of Medicine, there are a number of reasonably priced and well-maintained rental properties.
